Set at the foot of Skiddaw in the hills above Bassenthwaite Lake, and only a short drive from Keswick. Our campsite is a small, friendly, quiet site in the Lake District that provides a back to basic camping experience, and offers a great base to relax after your outdoor adventures.

With plenty of great walks, cycling routes and wild swimming destinations all from the tent pitch, Kestrel Lodge Campsite is a great base for your next adventure in the northern fells of the Lake District.

*Please note: we are a quiet site*

* Nestled between the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake and the foothills of Skiddaw, we're a friendly site for those looking for a quiet break.

* Great destination for listening to the sounds of nature and relaxing under the stars.

* NO large family/friend groups or parties, we don't allow music on site and have a strict quiet time of no noise after 10pm.
