Nestled at the base of Skiddaw, Foot O'Skiddaw offers a unique glamping experience, providing an excellent starting point for your mountain adventures. It offers all the charm of camping but a little bit more luxury in this beautifully designed space from the incredible Landpod.
Forget the tent, there's no set up required! And yes although Foot O'Skiddaw is canvas covered and you're still camping, it has a thermally insulated cover and also features a wood burning stove inside. So you can sit back and relax in this quirky space, and if you're missing that fresh air why not lift open the waterproof cover and dine alfresco!

​What included?
Inside, you'll find two super comfy double beds arranged in a bunk bed style, with bedding provided for a restful night’s sleep. If the weather turns, relax and dine inside in the indoor seating area complete with wine rack. There's under seat storage for your gear and shelves provided too. Solar-powered lighting and phone charging to ensure you stay connected while enjoying the great outdoors. And of course there's the wood burning stove, small but mighty for a cosy night in.

Outside, there's a picnic bench and little outdoor kitchen complete with pots, pans, crockery and a gas stove, ready for you to whip up a tasty treat. And of course, no camping experience would be complete without a crackling campfire—so there's a fire pit for you to enjoy too (please just purchase the firewood at reception).

The campsite offers amenities such as toilets, showers, drinking water, a washing-up area, and a small honesty shop. If you don't fancy cooking after a day of hiking, treat yourself to some good food and a well-deserved pint at the nearby Sun Inn, just a short walk away.
