Meet Lil' Cockup at the cosy Cocoon
Named after the nearby Wainwright, Little Cockup, which you can hike to directly from the campsite, Lil' Cockup is a charming, Cocoon-style glamping unit crafted by the innovative team at Landpod.
Ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the hills, this cosy retreat provides the perfect space to rest and recharge. If you're walking the Cumbria Way, why not indulge in a little extra comfort? Lil' Cockup offers a touch more luxury than our traditional Rent-A-Tent, making it the perfect way to treat yourself to a restful night in a snug, peaceful cocoon.
With a thermally insulated space blanket in the waterproof canvas roof, you’ll stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. When the sun’s shining, simply flip up the waterproof cover to bring the outdoors in and bask in the nature from the comfort of your own bed.

What's included?
Inside, you’ll find a super comfy double bed with bedding provided, along with a small cupboard for your essentials. Solar-powered lighting and you can even charge your phone with the power bank inside too.

If you’ve got a larger bag, no worries—there’s a waterproof storage box outside for your bigger rucksacks. And what’s camping without a fire pit? We've got that covered, too, so you can enjoy cozy nights by the fire under the stars (please just purchase the logs from the campsite).
A car parking space is included if needed, but there’s no need to pack the kitchen sink! Our site has toilets, showers, a pot washing area, and even a small honesty shop for anything you might need. After a day of exploring, take a short stroll to the local pub in the village for a well-earned meal and drink.​​

Perfect for 1 or 2 people, the Cosy Cocoon offers a little retreat with one double bed.
